Tawfiq Islamic Center is happy to announce its New Funeral Service Programe designed for Muslim Oromos in the Satate of Minnesota.

  Fundamental Objective:
-To establish well designated Cemetery for Muslim Oromos.
-To free members from ever soaring funeral service cost.
-To deliver well coordinated funeral service under the leadership of Tawfiq Islamic Ceneter  Committee. 

Members fees

Registration: Regestration starts from December 20, 2007 - May 30, 2008

Note: Due to the members that has been registed are less than what it was expected, the funeral committee has extended the deadline for membership to May 30, 2008

A. Family:  means Father, Mother and their children's which is under 18 years of age. However if the children's are above 18 years of age and they have 0 income they considered as part of the family and can be claimed as dependent. Also brotherinlaw and sisterinlaws are considered part of the family only if they have no income of any type.

B. Single: means a person who has no wife or husband and has no dependent, who works and have a job is considered a single.

C. 1. Student:  is who work a part time job and attend school as full time student.
     2. SSI recipient:  a person receives Social Security benefits.

D. Walfare Recipient  means a family or a person who receive a welfare benefit (MFIP)

•  This funeral service doesn't discriminate any person because of  his/her gender, ethnic, region or race

•  Member has to renew the membership annually if not renewed on the due date, he/she can't claim the service. 
  
• Member must notify TIC in writing any change in the household such as getting married, getting more income, change of address etc.
